Real estate firm to build low-rise condo

Businessworld - REAL ESTATE company CDC Holdings, Inc. is looking to further expand its property portfolio by building a low-rise residential condominium on a riverfront property in Manila, taking advantage of the location’s strategic features, a statement on Monday read.

Currently, the firm is building Manila RiverCity Residences, a 14,000-square-meter residential complex in Sta. Ana, Manila, consisting of nine buildings, each with around 10 to 14 floors.

“Enclosed by the nation’s busiest economic centers of Makati, San Juan, Mandaluyong and Manila, [Manila RiverCity Residences’] adjacency to schools and universities, plus being highly-accessible through private and public transportation, has made the [development] a prime location for cosmopolitan living,” the statement read.

Manila RiverCity Residences is located along the banks of the Pasig River, allowing for a historical and scenic view for its residents, CDC Holdings said.

In the meantime, as part of the developer’s goal to provide owners with a wide array of design options, the living, dining, bedroom, and kitchen areas of the Manila RiverCity Residences’ units are laid out with vinyl planks, while toilet areas have unglazed tiles.

Unit interior walls and ceilings, on the other hand, are finished with single-coat paint.

Building amenities include 1.5-meter-wide corridors, elevators, service stairs, roof decks with landing area, overhead water tanks with pump, and a standby generator for the development’s common areas.

Manila RiverCity Residences will also feature a playground, pavilion, swimming pool, and landscaped park for its residents.

Buyers may avail of a studio unit for P1.1 million, with a monthly payment of P6,000, CDC Holdings said. CDC Holdings was founded in 1986 and is the company behind the Somerset Millennium Suites in Makati City and the Platinum 1000 and 2000 condominiums in Greenhills, San Juan City.
